The Board of Supervisors today passed a resolution calling for appointment of a special committee of five supervisors to study the feasibility of an all-American canal connecting Lakes Erie and Ontario. Supervisors Charles E. Weston Sr. of the 17th Ward and Bernard C. Kaitanowski of the Seventh Ward were the sponsors.
